Oleum Hispania is a family linked to the olive grove that has made from the best Extra Virgin Olive Oil a lifestyle.
Based in the Subbética Cordobesa, an area internationally recognized for producing the best olive oil in the world, we make our products following the teachings of our ancestors, with the care that the olive juice requires to maintain its excellent culinary and nutritional conditions, and making our oils unique.
When October arrives we already have selected the olives that will shape our best juices. Early harvesting, immediate grinding and cold extraction are the key to preserving the quality of the final product.
The cold extraction process is carried out
by mechanical procedures and below 22ºC, with the aim of not altering at all the original flavour and properties of the olive to obtain a first extraction Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) with all its properties, vitamins and highly beneficial fatty acids for the body totally intact.
Priego de Córdoba
Located in the heart of Andalusia, at the foot of the Sierras Subbéticas, it is historically linked to the most traditional cultivation of olive groves.
In a wonderful geographical environment in which it is located and at an approximate altitude of 652 meters above sea level, it has very fertile lands that are perfect to olive cultivation. A harmonious landscape that generates an imposing sea of olive trees whose cultivation comes from the time of Roman domination where the olive groves experienced a great territorial expansion throughout Andalusia.
Carmona
Located in the fertile plain of the Guadalquivir valley, we find Coto de la Plata.
Lands where olive groves have been cultivated since the 7th century, being the juice of their fruits of great quality. Already in Roman times, this precious gold liquid of Betica was exported throughout the empire.
